JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Project Architects and project team to contribute to the development of conceptual and preliminary designs for offshore or building structures.

2. Assist in the creation and modification of detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software and other relevant tools.

3. Participate in design meetings and contribute creative ideas to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the offshore or building structures.

4. Conduct site visits if necessary to gather information and assess existing conditions. Support site analysis efforts to inform the design process.

5. Work closely with the architectural and engineering teams to coordinate design activities, ensuring seamless integration of architectural elements into the overall project.

6. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports. Maintain organized and up-to-date project files.

7. Assist in the selection of materials, considering factors such as durability, corrosion resistance, and environmental impact.

8. Communicate design intent and details effectively to team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

9. Support quality control processes by reviewing drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.

10. Be responsible for ensuring all work is undertaken diligently, delivered on time as to the agreed schedules with minimal errors and to a very high quality.

11. To be able to work seamlessly across different office locations, each assigned to specific projects if necessary.

Competence

1. Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or related field.

2. Experience in architectural design with exposure to construction projects.

3. Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other relevant tools.

4. Strong attention to detail and ability to contribute creative solutions to design challenges.

5. Knowledge of industry related standards and building codes.

6. Excellent communications and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
