The learning and development function supports the growth of BCGers by designing and delivering business-centric learning and development programs and events. In this role, you will drive the development, delivery and maintenance of a robust learning plan/curriculum that advances BCG\xe2\x80\x99s digital and functional capabilities in priority areas such as Digital, Technology, and Data (TDA), and climate & sustainability, etc. These learning programs will complement existing programs focused on core consulting capabilities. The role balances external (academia, industry, partnerships) and internal (BCG local, regional and global offers) learning resource management Your role includes the following:
1. Business Partner
Understand business and upskilling needs of BCG\xe2\x80\x99s consulting teams who work in Digital, Technology, and Data (TDA) and other priority functional topics such as climate & sustainability (C&S) etc.
Work with business leaders across AP to drive learning plan/ monthly calendar based on identified needs and audiences
Own the development plan by outlining the proposition, learning objectives, curriculum and delivery format for various learner segments
Represent digital and functional learning needs of AP consulting teams in global L&D forums
Work in an integrated manner to reflect digital and functional needs in the larger BCG L&D community at global, regional, and system level
Collaborate with global L&D team to integrate emerging business needs in the core consulting curriculum
2. Learning Strategy
Collaborate with global L&D to encourage adoption of a targeted learning curriculum across traditional and specialty consulting tracks
Leverage existing academic and commercial partnerships/alliances that provide opportunity for upskilling
Identify and create access to new strategic academic/industry partnerships for collaboration on depth of technology skills and access to emerging tech.
Continuously review impact and feedback from programs delivered and collaborate with leaders and partners for enhancements
Harmonize and leverage scale (systems and processes) where possible in collaboration with global L&D team and others
3. Operations Oversight
Lead a team of two L&D specialists in executing/ delivering the regional digital & functional upskilling curriculum (AP C&S Stewardship Program, monthly learning webinar/ masterclasses for priority functional practice such as Digital, Technology, and Data (TDA) and Climate & sustainability (C&S).
Embed the on-boarding and integration process in the learning curriculum
Administer individual learning plans, including:
Programs based on Career Development Committee (CDC) identified areas for development (AfDs)
Sponsorship of certifications and related external trainings across digital and technology topics
Maintain robust learning records including attendance, cancellations and feedback
Prepare annual budget and regularly monitor budget
Support marketing / promotion of learning and development programs at Regional and System level including at upskilling events, global chapter journeys, newsletters, and through local HR and system leaders
Support leaders in organizing networking and learning events
4. People management and stakeholder management
Lead a team of two L&D specialists by providing clarity on tasks required, checking in with team members on a regular basis to ensure preparations are on track and act as the point of escalation when needed
Guide, coach, motivate and develop this team to ensure we continue to grow them as individuals as well as ensuring we have the skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the business
Work within the agreed team norms and continue to foster a psychologically safe environment where everyone can speak up, contribute, and thrive at work
Establish a strong working relationship with various stakeholders (business leaders in C&S, chapter owners in different digital topics; broader AP people functions for TDA/ C&S staff, as well as global, regional and local L&D teams.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
BA/BS degree plus minimum 8-10 years professional experience in L&D/Talent Management Professional Certification in Learning/Talent Management an added advantage
YOU\'LL WORK WITH
You will be part of the Asia Pacific L&D Team. Your direct line manager is the Asia Pacific Consulting Learning & Development Senior Director, based in Shanghai, with a dotted line to Global Learner Portfolio Director based in London.
Other key relationships are the business leaders in TDA/ C&S Practice Areas, broader AP people functions for TDA/ C&S staff, as well as global, regional and local L&D teams.
