Job Description


Job-scope:

  • Perform full spectrum of GL function to maintain full set of accounts, including monthly management report with analysis report, required schedules, bank reconciliation & inter-company reconciliation.
  • Ensure accounting records are properly maintained & reconciled.
  • Manage the closing of accounts & all general accounting functions.
  • Ensure the accounts are in compliance with statutory requirements, approved accounting standards, relevant act & regulations.
  • Overseas the day-to-day activities of accounting functions (i.e. accounts receivables, accounts payables, inventory and cash management, etc), including coaching and leading other team matters.
  • Work closely with Department Head to ensure all documents are properly collated for a timely manner.
  • Identify, report & resolve accounting related operational issues, discrepancies & unusual/abnormal transactions.
  • Directs activities to ensure systems & controls are in place as outlined in policy & procedure manuals.
  • Assist in finalization of the statutory audit, corporate income tax and the preparation of corporate income tax return,
  • Oversees preparation &/or reviews reports in support of internal & external audits. Works with internal & external audit as needed.
  • Monitor cash flow management, budgeting, consolidation of accounting information internally.
  • Liaise with tax agent, company secretary & other relevant bodies, when required.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance &/or Professional qualifications (ACCA & CPA & etc).
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar function. A candidate with auditing background will be an added advantage.
  • Possess strong analytical skills & problem-solving skills, meticulous & good time management with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Product is a must (Excel, Work & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work with tight timeframes, assist in direct, supervise and coach subordinates, multi-task, manage resource usage efficiently & priorities task for timely completion.
