The role involves both creative and technical responsibilities, contributing to the successful delivery of architectural projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing architectural design concepts, layouts, and presentation drawings.
Prepare and update architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent and technical accuracy.
Support the preparation of submission drawings and documents for local authority approvals.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve design issues.
Ensure all work complies with Malaysian building codes, UBBL, and relevant standards.
Assist in preparing tender drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Contribute to project research, material selection, and sustainability considerations.
Maintain proper documentation and project filing systems.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or any related certificates.
Experience:
1-3 years of working experience in an architectural firm (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply).
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with local authority submission procedures and Malaysian building regulations.
Soft Skills:
Good communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
Language:
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Others:
Must
possess own transport
and a valid driving license for site visits and external meetings.
