We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and Personal Banking team in the role of Assistant Brand and Social Media Manager working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • The role holder is responsible to support the overall Malaysia vision and objectives through brand, social and marketing activities
  • The role holder will deliver this through unlocking market opportunities through insights, marketing science, data and analytics, creativity and innovation
  • The role holder must support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behavior, actions and decision making
  • Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders
  • Assist the Brand and Social Marketing Manager to implement various strategic brand programmes in line with the Brand strategy. This may include execution of content across various HSBC owned, earned and paid media channels, brand sponsorship/partnerships, advise/manage HSBC Brand guidelines and branded assets, XLOB collaboration activities etc.
  • Accountable to drive brand health uplift and social media channels effectiveness and growth in engagement.
  • Work with XLOB stakeholders to drive local in-country activities related to Brand positioning, values and increase customer\xe2\x80\x99s perception and top of mind.
  • Drive and execute local brand programmes in line with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Brand positioning, purpose and guidelines
  • Assist in amplifying global and locally generated brand and partnerships content on owned and social media channels
  • Assist the team on XLOB marketing activities to drive a consistent Brand message across HSBC
  • Drive consistency and optimisation on brand execution across branch network, digital channels and platforms.
  • Work with Social Media community management team to unearth relevant and topical insights to inform content development and strategy.
  • Analytical and able to draw clear insights for the brand from research reports to help surface opportunities and actions.
  • Assist in producing agile content for paid and owned channels as well as working with Agency partners to create compelling, brand and business stories
  • Assist in the rollout of tools and platforms for cost efficient in-house content development
  • Be a customer champion and adopt agile ways of working
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in/Creative Multimedia, Communications, Marketing or equivalent.
  • General understanding of brand, advertising & marketing industry with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred Skill(s):, Adobe Illustrator, brand development, content marketing, storytelling.
  • Able to design and execute brand or marketing plans with a clear communication objective in mind
  • Able to communicate proficiently in: English (other languages are an added advantage)
