We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Business Finance Manager job to join a reputable company in the pest control and hygiene services industry based inShah Alam.

About the Assistant Business Finance Manager Role:
As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of the business. You will be responsible for partnering with various departments, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in business partnering with Branch Operation, HR, and Marketing
  • Take charge of the accounting operation during the month-end closing process
  • Evaluate and interpret monthly management reports, such as profit and loss, balance sheet, and other accounting statements, to manage profits and assess the financial position. Also responsible for monthly and annual forecasting/budgeting
  • Generate reports on branch business performance and present the findings during the monthly branch review
  • Assist in the implementation of new systems
  • Provide support during annual audits and tax assessments
  • Handle ad-hoc tasks or projects as needed
To succeed in this Assistant Business Finance Manager role, you must have effective communication skills, self-reliance, and resilience are essential qualities.

Key Requirements:
  • Candidates should possess a minimum of a degree in Accounting/Finance or hold a professional accounting qualification
  • A minimum of five years\' relevant experience is required, preferably with previous supervisory experience
  • Experience the FMCG/manufacturing or a similar industry within a multinational environment is advantageous
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation tools, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint is essential
  • Readiness to travel nationally up to 10% of the time is expected
