Specializes in preparing traditional and contemporary dim sum dishes (steamed, fried, and baked varieties).
Plans and develops new dim sum recipes and seasonal menus.
Ensures all dim sum items are consistently prepared and presented according to quality standards.
Oversees mise en place and preparation for daily dim sum operations.
Supervises and trains junior kitchen staff on dim sum techniques and hygiene practices.
Maintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food items.
Manages inventory and ordering of ingredients specific to dim sum production.
Monitors food costs and minimizes wastage through proper portioning and planning.
Collaborates with Executive Chef and Sous Chef on menu design and kitchen operations.
Ensures timely service and smooth coordination with service staff during meal periods.
Upholds high standards of kitchen safety, cleanliness, and food hygiene.
