Job Summary

Manage the Business Development team. Build and enhance customer relations by proactively responding to customers' needs and issues. Develop customer base to increase sales and product range of customers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Business Development team to achieve the targets set

Manage customer relations and have strong rapport with customers at all levels

Identify new business opportunities and work with the team to secure the job

Proactively identify customers' requirements and issues so that early action can be taken to pre-empt issues and complaints.

Work and follow up closely with the relevant departments to ensure customers' issues are addressed

Prepare and/or review quotations and negotiate with customers in order to secure the order.

Follow up closely with team and customers for the sales confirmation.

Review sales forecast before forwarding information to materials management and production to plan for their schedules accordingly.

Ensure BD Executive updates production on delivery instructions promptly.

To monitor development on competitors

Update market info

Monitor production's daily output and delivery schedules to ensure products are delivered on time

Develop new customers and expand product range of existing customers to increase market share

Keep abreast of development in the industry and continuously look for opportunities to expand the business

Promptly address billing issues and customers' outstanding accounts
