Proactively manage claims from notification to closure of files. Ensure claims are processed in accordance with the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Claims Service Standard and / or Bank Negara\xe2\x80\x99s Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices.
Work proactively to develop and manage strong relations with various stakeholders i.e. policyholders, marketers, agents, underwriters, co/reinsurers, finance department and others.
Assists in organizing workflow and allocation for effective handling of claims. Ensure that policies, procedures are followed, service standard maintained, and claims data processing input are accurate and maintained at a high standard.
Review/follow up on all outstanding claims on regular basis to ensure claims reserve are adequate and status updated. Maintain a low pending ratio of outstanding claims (prompt disposal of claims to reduce number of outstanding claims.)
Identify any deficiency in policy coverage, issues and adverse claims trend so that corrective measures can be taken.
Supervises, motivates, trains and guides subordinate staffs in all aspects of claims processing and maintaining discipline of subordinates.
Requirements
Min Degree holder/Associate MII/CII.
Minimum 5 years in non- motor claims handling experience.
Strong verbal and written communications.
Good analytical, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
