Global Service & Parts (GSP) is responsible for the worldwide Service & Parts business of the Mercedes-Benz Group.
The newly established entity, Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific, will be part of the global Mercedes-Benz Group After-Sales supply chain network, covering the regional distribution hub, regional Asia Pacific functions and the center of competence supply chain steering Asia Pacific. The future Regional Logistics Centre is currently under construction and will start operations in 2023. The future Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai (Johor Bahru) will be a key facility in the global GSP Parts Logistics Network and will serve as a distribution site for spare parts to 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. It will take care of the importation, the storage as well as the regional management of spare part and accessories distribution.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
- To ensure that the operational flow of Dangerous Goods (DG) are in accordance to regulations, adhering to both local and export\'s country requirement.
- Coordinate and plan DG parts storage and placement within the Warehouse as well as parts relocation & replenishment.
- Manage Inbound and Outbound processes for DG parts and Li-Ion High Voltage batteries are according to safe handling guideline.
- Maintain certification on Dangerous/ Hazardous/ Restricted Goods Regulations to ensure shipment of dangerous/ hazardous/ restricted articles/ materials goods to all locations are complying with the law.
- Planning and controlling the usage of DG Packaging Material.
- Location Management of DG products into designated Hazmat storage and Battery storage area.
- Replenishment of DG products, safety/spill kits, and maintenance of DG related equipment.
- Conduct 1st level visual inspection for DG products that are flagged as damaged.
- Approving party for any exception in relation with DG products.
- Coordinate both internal and external enquiries in respect of DG products in general through the Safety Data Sheet.
- Maintain proper scrapping documentations/visual evidence.
- Ensure 3PL operations updated according with company compliance documentations.
- Ensure all related staff and operators has the necessary qualification to manage both Hazardous material and DG goods.
- Provide training and refresher training to all employee in accordance to the MB Li-Ion Battery training guideline.
- Strategize on continuous improvement that have impact on accuracy and efficient with focus on safety.
- Preparation of KPIs & Reports in relation with outbound data.
- Preparation of incident/issue reports at all inbound stations.
- Preparation of any related Warehouse & Logistics reports and any other ad-hoc reports as and when required by the Management.

Job requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) Certificate.
- IMDG Code Certificate.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, and 1 year of experience in managing dangerous goods.
- Experience in 3PL management is added advantages.
- For internal placement, candidate must have a LEAD rating of "Successful".
- Highly motivated and able to work in a team, good team work spirit.
- Self-directed with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate presentation (preparation and delivery) skills.
- Strong attention to details and technicalities.
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
