Payments Oversight & Special Projects - Assistant Manager
Main responsibilities:
To manage the area of payment operations for payment services running on the consumer digital platform.
To manage exceptions, intersystem financial breaks and run effective financial reconciliation and settlement oversights covering all digital transactions on the consumer digital platform.
To proactively identify areas with ineffective controls and perform necessary corrective and preventive measures.
To be the focal point and for all finance related enquiries including audit and compliance reviews.
Run escalation of loss events and compliance issues and/or regulatory breach incident.
To effectively execute controls testing and monitor areas relating to financial operations, physical assets on prescribed schedule.
To deliver quality on internal and regulatory dashboards and reports on payments
Job Requirements
Relevant bachelors degree
A proactive team player with minimum of 5 years\' experience in the area of finance, payment operations, collections, risk management or audit.
Analytical, have an eye for detail on potential risk or emerging risk, strong writing and presentation skills.
Good understanding of Financial Services Act 2013 (FSA) and Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 (IFSA) respectively, as well as aware of the risk management best practices of the industry is an added advantage.
