Manage and monitor sales teams to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives
Diverse experience in handling branch operations. Strong leadership, people management and an individual hand on to the job.
General Responsibilities
Analyze the individual salesman performance on a daily basis, identify issues faced by the team and provide remedial actions and plans to ensure key performance areas are met.
Ensure basic sales management tool is implemented and close monitor in salesman productivity.
Monitor the monthly sales performance of the team to ensure sales objectives and client KPI are achieved.
Identify distribution opportunities for the products assigned.
Provide the sales forecast by product on a weekly basis.
Submit a monthly report to line manager and other functioning team within the stipulated timelines, covering areas on trade sales performance, expenses, resource, issues and opportunity situation analysis, competition and plan of action.
Manage and control all trade-related expenses within the budget allocated.
Work with the client in developing and implementing trade plans in support of the distribution and trade sales strategies.
Work with the client area territory in-charge to ensure the effective implementation of sales campaigns and the establishment of distribution priorities.
Manage the trade expense budget based on the sales contribution and effectiveness of trade marketing activities.
Participate in the client weekly / bi-weekly sales meetings to maintain awareness of the market dynamics and recommend remedial actions in case of sales deviations from set objectives.
Plan and carry out other duties as may be assigned by the Company and/or direct superior from time to time.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
At least 3 ? 5 years sales experience in FMCG or telecommunication industry will be an added advantage.
Experience in retail or reseller sales
Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia, any other dialects would be an added advantage
Able to work independently and must have teamwork spirit
Possess own transport
Education
Minimum Diploma Holder
Work Experience
At least 3 years of sales supervisory experience preferably in FMCG industry. Familiarity with Telecommunication industry will be an added advantage
Able to converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia and any other local dialects
Pleasant personality with excellent
communication and interpersonal skills
