Job Description

The ideal candidate is expected to examine and compile financial reports and be well acquainted with governmental regulations, monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company & monitor the working performance of the Finance Department. s Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions. Monitoring of the cash flow, ensuring optimum cash level. Responsible for preparing financial statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, company budget/allocation status, other accounting schedules, and reports on monthly/quarterly/semi-annual/yearly basis for Management review and decision-making. Ensure compliance with bank covenants and tax requirements, including Malaysia SST, withholding taxes, and customs duties. Ensure proper maintenance of accurate, complete, and up-to-date accounting records of the company to ensure timely production of management accounts and statutory accounts in accordance with statutory regulatory requirements. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, customs, regulatory authorities, and other parties to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Collaborate and work closely with various departments, able to discuss, review, articulate, and recommend suggestions/ideas that contribute towards the greater success of the company and financial plans. Verify all payments and ensure compliance with the company's policies. Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, training hour and reports for the financial department. Other administrative and ad-hoc duties as and when required from time to time. Job Requirements Degree in Finance / Accounting or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, MACPA, or equivalent) Required language(s): English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia At least 5 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Able to work independently, self-motivated, and have good interpersonal skills and leadership skills. Outstanding attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
