Sephora Malaysia is looking to recruit an Assistant Manager, Finance.

• 
  Taking ownership of the production of high-quality financial accounts, lead in Balance Sheet review and cash flow planning.
• Performing ongoing review, proposing process improvements and implementing enhancements whilst ensuring compliance to internal controls.
• Providing support to the Finance team during monthly closing, yearly budgeting and forecasting exercise giving insights on cost drivers and trends.
• Liaising with external auditor on statutory audit, ensuring compliance of statutory reporting, following up and close off auditor\xe2\x80\x99s queries making sure audited financial statement is sign off within the Malaysia reporting statutory timeline.
• Liaising with tax agent on annual company income tax, transfer pricing and any other tax related matters. Reviewing and validating tax computation and any other information provided by tax agent.
• Liaising with corporate secretary and managing corporate secretarial matters.
• Working closely with the Shared Service Centre (SSC) and Accounts Executive ensuring smooth daily operations in AP, AR, GL, Treasury and monthly closing.
• Leading, supervising and providing coaching to direct report.
• Participating and providing support on a variety of company projects and performing any other duties assigned.

• 
  You possess a degree or professional qualifications in Finance / Accounting with minimum 3 years of experience in similar capacity in retail/FMCG industry. If you have working experience with big 4 consulting firms will be an added advantage.
• You possess sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals and controls while striving to keep abreast of Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s accounting and tax developments.
• You are hands-on, analytical, meticulous and great with numbers.
• You have a positive attitude, a great team player, self-starter, possesses good communication skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• You are proficient in Excel with experience in using SAP.
