Job Description


Responsibilities: Work closely with various departments to understand their financial needs and objectives. Provide financial guidance and support to departmental heads to ensure effective cost management. Proactively provide business insights and analysis to profitability and operating efficiencies of business channel and business center. Evaluate current and past financial data to identify trends and analyse business performance. Analyse operating expenses forecast/ budget vs actual and provide regular updates to management. Assist in preparation of monthly management report, highlighting key performance metrics. Assist in preparation of strategic plans, annual budget and quarterly forecasts including establishing assumptions, analysis and presentation preparation review and analysis. Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by senior management. Requirements: Degree in accountancy or ACCA/CIMA/Chartered Accountant and have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the commercial finance/business analysis experience in the retail/FMCG industry. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, finance and accounting software, e.g. SAP, Qlik Sense and any EPM. Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. A self-driven, independent individual who enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills to foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
