Job Description


We are looking for a Assistant HR Manager to monitor all HR functions.The responsibilities include preparing compensation and benefits packages, setting up company policies and maintaining updated employee records. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of full cycle recruiting and solid knowledge of labour legislation. Ultimately, you will foster a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

  • Establish and nurture employee relationships to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Foster a collaborative and community-oriented environment.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace for employees.
  • Coordinate various events, from planning and setup to execution and follow-up. Address inquiries from both potential candidates and current employees promptly.
  • Collect and analyze employee feedback to offer valuable insights for enhancing the overall experience.
  • Act as the office\'s Ambassador to elevate the Employee Experience.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR-related administrative issues, such as login problems, insurance and medical claims, travel arrangements, and office administration matters.
  • Maintain close communication with the local HR team regarding onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and audit concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with company\'s policies and procedures where applicable.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to address employee issues and escalate when necessary. Occasionally assist in the staffing process, including recruitment, interviews, and hiring.
  • Proactively update the Rewards team on changes in Malaysian labor laws and the latest compensation and benefits trends in the local market.

  • A bachelor\'s degree is preferred, with a preference for majors in human resource management, business management, or any field with relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of HR experience in medium-sized companies is required.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication, negotiation, collaboration, and the ability to diplomatically assert oneself.
  • Proficient knowledge of Malaysia\'s labor laws is essential.
  • Capability to work independently, efficiently prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, analytical, and forecasting abilities.
  • Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and sound decision-making capabilities are essential.
