The Human Resource Assistant Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Job Types: Full-time Salary: RM 5,000 - RM 8,200 Working Location: Plaza33, Section 14 Petaling Jaya (8 Min Walk from Asia Jaya LRT Station & 13 Min Walk From Universiti LRT Station) Role Description Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. Maintain pay plan and benefits program. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs. Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Working with the Managing Director to understand organizational goals and develop strategic initiatives. Planning and executing a human resources strategy that falls in line with these goals. Supporting and guiding other staff within the human resources department. Overseeing the organization\'s talent acquisition strategy and process, including recruiting, interviewing, and hiring. Establishing employee performance review, training, and/or development programs. Evaluating benefits packages and choosing the best one for both the organization and its employees. Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all regulations. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory. Maintain HR systems and processes. Conduct performance and salary reviews. Provide support and guidance to HR staff. Analyze trends in compensation and benefits. Design and implement employee retention strategies. Maintaining a smooth onboarding process. Resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation. Advising on pay and other issues, including promotion and benefits; administer payroll and maintain staff records. Good understanding and technical abilities within all HR departmental areas including recruitment, employee relations, workforce administration, employee engagement, payroll, reward and recognition, welfare, learning and development and HR systems. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field required. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of working experience in a Human Resources role. Fluent in the use of English language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent understanding of HR practices. Proven working experience as HR Assistant Manager or HR Senior Executive. People oriented and results driven. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Knowledge of HR systems and databases. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company. In-depth knowledge of labour law and HR best practices. Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations. Knowledge of Employment Law. Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise. Problem-solving skills and initiative. Positive and approachable manner.
