Global Service & Parts (GSP) is responsible for the worldwide Service & Parts business of the Mercedes-Benz Group.

The newly established entity, Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific, will be part of the global Mercedes-Benz Group After-Sales supply chain network, covering the regional distribution hub, regional Asia Pacific functions and the center of competence supply chain steering Asia Pacific. The future Regional Logistics Centre is currently under construction and will start operations in 2023. The future Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai (Johor Bahru) will be a key facility in the global GSP Parts Logistics Network and will serve as a distribution site for spare parts to 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. It will take care of the importation, the storage as well as the regional management of spare part and accessories distribution.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

• To liaise with 3PL on Inbound planning and scheduling to ensure safe, stable operations that meets the define KPIs.

• To liaise with 3PL on Outbound planning and to monitor outbound order volumes and picking sequences to ensure workload balance distribution.

• Review reports from 3PL on possible location management issues such as damage bin, bin capacity and overflow to rectify and verify required changes.

• Review parts that do not have specific locations base on HS code and assign to the correct location as identified by 3PL.

• To plan out delivery schedule, monitor and control all inbound and outbound deliveries in relation to warehouse activity, resources and workload.

• Review location load and re-assign parts for better storage and picking strategy.

• Manage projects with relation to location impact or build-up of new location types upon needed.

• Analyze & review daily/weekly/monthly operation reports such as downtime, damage and other related reports.

• Performs other related duties/ tasks related to warehouse operation as assigned or when required by the management.

• Ensure security, safety, cleanliness of the warehouse, and assure the warehouse facilities are well maintained.

• Contribute to other developments of the company on an ad hoc basis.

• Develop strategies streamline logistics processes to reduce cost; implement best practices and continuous improvement.

• Preparation of KPIs & Reports in relation with Planning and location management.

• Preparation of incident/issue reports.

• Preparation of any related Warehouse & Logistics reports and any other ad-hoc reports as and when required by the Management.

• Minimum Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or any other related warehouse experience.

• Experience in 3PL management and planning are added advantages.

• For internal placement, candidate must have a LEAD rating of "Successful".

• Highly motivated and able to work in a team, good teamwork spirit.

• Self-directed with good written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate presentation (preparation and delivery) skills.

• Strong attention to details and technicalities.

• Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
