You will be responsible for sales to both assigned existing and new accounts within the Industrial & Energy Products (IEP) segmentation. The scope of services shall include but not limited to, Environmental and Reliability Testing, EMC Testing, Explosion Protection Testing, Functional Safety Testing and Electrical Safety Testing services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to operations team in Malaysia in conceptualizing, planning and execution on technical, method development, laboratory accreditation, operational efficiency, productivity, and quality of works to meet emerging trends or market demands.
Lead a team of Sales Engineers and Lab Technicians in T\xc3\x9cV S\xc3\x9cD Malaysia to conduct testing and verification
Manage the timely and cost effectiveness for delivery of test jobs to clients within the quality parameters whilst conforming to international standard
Responsible for MY Product Service - IEP Operating Results (OR)
To drive assigned sales revenue growth for MY PS - IEP
Collaborate with Operations and ASEAN Business Unit/Line Managers to identify new opportunities, markets, partnerships or business alliances
Reach out to target customers for new services
Conduct gap analysis on technical capabilities required and support in competency development and laboratory scope expansion for new services or markets to meet emerging trends or market demands
Support ASEAN region in building and developing local capabilities & facilities
Co-develop Go-To-Market strategy with identified target customers to fulfill the assigned financial objectives
Conduct business development with prospects to increase revenue and sales pipelines.
Collaborate with vendors and other departments to resolve engineering issues or testing requirements
Coordinate with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects
Oversee and spearhead quality and process improvements initiative
Your Qualifications
Key Requirements:
Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with at least 5 years of sales experience in B2B environment preferably gained in an international organization
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written) with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience and knowledge in either Industrial or Cables, Switchgear & Accessories, Machinery, Electrical or Electronics industries.
Knowledgeable in Testing, Inspection and Certification industry
Strong sales and/or business development track records and the ability to use consultative selling and management of major accounts for growth
Clear and articulate presentation ability with excellent communication skills
Target-driven personality but with high level of diplomacy to influence management and decision makers
