Assistant Manager, Performance Marketing

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Performance Marketing specialist to lead the planning, implementation, optimisation and reporting of performance marketing initiatives to help drive traffic and maximize ROI across all marketing channels. The incumbent is to work together internally and externally with our Marketing, Content, Product, Business Development, Merchant, Creative, Data, Analyst and Tech team to help propel our business forward. This role requires someone who is comfortable with performance related business architecture who has a analytical mindset and can think creatively to solve problems and challenges. This role requires someone who is passionate about increasing brand awareness, sales and enjoy using data to solve problems and identify opportunities. This person will oversee all aspects of running an ecommerce and digital marketing strategy to support loyalty, marketplace and holiday businesses within MAG.

Key Accountability

  • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan (focus on performance marketing).
  • Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors to ensure efficiency of marketing initiatives, campaigns and optimization of budgets.
  • Regularly review and optimise all advertising campaigns for positive ROI/ROAS.
  • Track and analyse key digital marketing campaigns across paid and non-paid channels and provide regular internal reports.
  • Designing and performing online campaign and conversion analyses, interpret results and develop recommendations for team members.
  • Set up, manage and optimize campaigns to drive awareness and acquisition through SEM, display, social media and affiliate marketing.
  • Ongoing implementation and evolution of digital campaign analysis, as well as providing insights and learnings for optimization and reporting.
  • Managing design of campaign testing and testing strategies; design metrics to be measured throughout testing and provide internal clients with clear results and recommendations.
  • Evaluate and optimize marketing and pricing strategies for products and services on the platform.
  • Managing budgets and monitoring campaign costs and ROI metrics.
Qualifications & Working Experience

Degree in Marketing, Finance or Business Administration with 4-5 years work experience in Business Revenue, Digital Marketing, Marketing.

Personality Traits
  • Highly goal-oriented individual and have excellent communication skills.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills and leverage data, metric, analytics and consumer behaviour trend to drive actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Knowledgeable in marketing strategies, channels, branding, performance, finance and sales.
  • Detail oriented, with good organizational skills i.e. Time Management, Task Management.
  • Prior experience in similar role as well as experience building effective multi-channel marketing strategies, including but not limited to affiliate marketing, PPC, SEO, SEM, social media, omni-channel and other digital channels.
