Job description: Job Summary The individual will support the Group Corporate Communications & Sustainability Team in the delivery and development of industry leading sustainability strategies for the Group. The efforts will be focused on ESG related data analytics and accounting, performance monitoring, system establishment, modelling and reporting. The role will be working closely with the Group\'s strategic planning and implementation on sustainability/ESG related matters, especially on RENEWABLE ENERGY and SUSTAINABLE FINANCE focus areas. Key Responsibilities Support the CSO/ GSM on all matters related to Group sustainability/ESG. Advise and implement approaches in ESG data accounting, monitoring and reporting with particular focus on renewable energy, assurance and sustainable finance. Identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making. Report and monitor on progress, benchmarking indices and identifying gaps in the Group\'s sustainability programme and materiality assessment. Assist in the research and analytics on topics related to renewable energy, sustainable finance and ESG related certifications. Assist in offset programme management (calculation and strategies). Provide research and graphical support to the integrated environmental and sustainable design of masterplans and projects. Present analysis, environmental design strategies, and engineering solutions in the form of reports, images, and presentations to key internal and external stakeholders. Keep abreast of all industry developments in relation to sustainability reporting and benchmarking practices, ensuring best practice in reporting methodologies is adopted for all outputs from the Gamuda Sustainability Team. Assist the sustainability team in all other relevant team tasks including helpdesk enquiries, and production of marketing and case study materials. Assist in report writing that includes sustainability report, management papers, and analysis reports. To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company. Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management. Qualifications A Bachelor or Master Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent, with a minimum 4 years of working experience. Certification or training evidence on sustainability/ESG (particularly on renewable energy, assurance or sustainable finance) related would be an advantage. Experience working on renewable energy or any offset programme would be an advantage. Experience using visualisation software would be an advantage (e.g. MS PowerPoint, Power BI, Tableau, LCA software, GHG software or equivalent) Skills & Abilities Strong understanding and working knowledge on sustainability/ESG. Strong data analytical skill (experience/knowledgeable in GHG Protocol or carbon accounting or GRI Standards will be an advantage). An evident passion for Sustainability/ESG. Experience in presenting process information through dashboards, modelling and impact visualisation (digitally savvy). Ability to analyse and validate large data sets to be represented meaningfully in a timely and effective manner. Expected Minimum Years of Experience Minimum 4 years of working experience.
