Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced
Assistant Manager, Bonded Warehouse Operations
to support the daily management of our bonded warehouse facilities (Bayan Lepas, Seberang Perai, and Kulim).This role is critical for ensuring full
compliance with Malaysian customs regulations
, optimizingoperational efficiency
, and maintaining high standards ofinventory accuracy
across all sites.Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise all bonded warehouse activities across
Bayan Lepas, Seberang Perai, and Kulim warehouses
, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch. Ensure full compliance withMalaysian customs regulations
and bonded warehouse requirements. Liaise with customs officers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations. Develop and implementStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
to improve operational efficiency and accuracy. Monitor and report on warehouseKPIs
including inventory accuracy, turnaround time, and space utilization. Lead and train warehouse staff to maintain high performance and safety standards. Coordinate audits and inspections and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date. Manage bonded goods movement and ensure proper documentation forimport/export/local transfer activities
.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Warehouse / Logistics or a related field. Minimum
3-5 years
in warehouse operations, with2+ years in a bonded warehouse
environment. Strong knowledge ofMalaysian customs regulations
and bonded procedures. Provensupervisory/leadership
skills and WMS proficiency.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM5,800.00 per month
