• Certificate/ Diploma/Degree in Pastry Arts, Pastry-Making, Baking, or relevant field.
• 1 or more years\' experience working within the food industry as a Pastry Chef, Assistant Baker, Baker, or relevant role.
• Working knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
• Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
• Keen attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Positive attitudes, with eagerness to learn and willingness to make improvements.
• Trainee baker with potential shall be promoted to Baker and to production supervisor in your career path.

• Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
• Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
• Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
• Monitoring the stock of baking ingredients.
• Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry/baking section, when needed, and within budget.
• Ensuring their section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations.
• Assist in the production line preparing cookie dough recipes, baking, shaping, and finishing high-quality products.
• Following directions provided by Head Baker.
• Prepare customers cake orders and cake for cafe.
• Ensure enough production and supply for outlet.
• Follow standard recipes.
• Assess the quality of raw materials before baking.
