Job Description

Production Operations

Drive performance improvement and production efficiency. Manage existing and new customers to support business growth. Identify cost-effective manufacturing opportunities and implement innovations. Ensure compliance with Group policies, regulations, and contracts. Oversee machinery repair, maintenance, and engineering projects. Maintain product expertise and provide technical support/product trials. Manage key projects, capex, modifications, and continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance & Control

Implement and maintain quality systems and procedures. Conduct inspections and audits to meet ISO standards. Investigate and resolve quality issues with corrective actions. Collaborate with QA team to improve SOPs and work instructions.

Team Leadership

Lead production teams to ensure morale, teamwork, and collaboration. Supervise, guide, and set KPIs for subordinates. Support performance evaluations and staff development.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce HSE policies and promote a strong safety culture. Conduct risk assessments and safety audits. Lead incident investigations and promote safe practices.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate production and quality records. Prepare reports on performance, quality, and improvement initiatives. Support internal and external audits.
Requirements:

Degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering At least 5-7 years' relevant working experience in manufacturing environment, experience in packaging industries is an added advantage. Strong understanding of production workflows, lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong leadership qualities with ability to supervise, coach, and develop the production teams. Proficient in using production management software (experience in SAP an added advantage) Good planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and assimilate new information quickly Able to perform root cause analysis and propose/implement process improvements to further the manufacturing output and optimize all phases of production process Proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing environment Strong interpersonal skills, effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across departments in the organization. High attention to details with strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and quality issues.
