Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Control & Inspection

Perform

incoming, in-process, and final inspections

of raw materials, components, and finished automotive parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM reports). Conduct

visual and functional inspections

to identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conformances against specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.

Monitor critical control points

(CCPs) on the production line to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Prepare and maintain

inspection records, test data, and quality reports

in an organized and accessible manner.

2. Quality Assurance & Documentation

Assist in the

development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)

, often aligned with industry standards like

IATF 16949

. Support the

Non-Conformance Report (NCR)

process by documenting findings, isolating defective materials, and assisting with containment efforts. Assist in the execution of

process audits

and

product audits

as directed by the QA/QC Manager. Help maintain the

calibration records

for all measuring and testing equipment used in the facility.

3. Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

Work with production personnel to

identify the root cause

of quality issues and scrap materials. Participate in the implementation of

Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)

to address recurring quality problems. Follow up on implemented changes to ensure their

effectiveness

in preventing future defects.

4. Teamwork & Safety

Communicate quality findings and concerns effectively to the QA/QC Manager and production supervisors. Adhere strictly to all company

safety policies

and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Diploma / Degree or technical certification in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Fresh Graduated are welcome

For Executive level 1-4 years of experience

in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, preferably within the

automotive, aerospace, or precision manufacturing industry

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
