We are seeking an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will also be responsible for managing staff, scheduling, and inventory control.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant
Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety
Manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Assist with menu planning and pricing strategies
Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
Assist with financial management, including budgeting and cost control
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
