Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Description
:
- To assist the Restaurant Manager to oversee the entire operations of the restaurants.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines.
- Promote and market the business.
- Oversee stock levels.
- Order supplies.
- Ensure that staff are trained to speak and carry themselves in a certain manner, aligned with the standards set by the company.
- Take reservations.
- Greet and advise customers.
- Prepare and present staffing/sales reports.
- Assess and improve profitability.
- Handle administration and paperwork.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, authorities and sales representatives.
- Make improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant.
- Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management.
- SPM/Diploma/Degree or higher academic qualifications in any relevant fields.
- Minimum two years working experience in the same capacity.
- Good communication skills (fluent English and Bahasa Malaysia).
- Knowledgeable in F&B industry.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Able to work on shift.
- Pleasant personality and attention to details.
- Previous experience in steakhouse/ western restaurant is an added advantage.
