The Exchange TRX is a 17-acre integrated development set to become one of Asia\xe2\x80\x99s leading lifestyle hubs. The mall is a 1.3 million sq ft of next-generation retail space will include a 10-acre rooftop park.

We are looking for build our mall team and would like to invite aspiring individuals to apply for the following role:

Assistant Security Manager

Assistant Security Manager assists the Head of Security in overseeing all aspects of the Security Department and collaborate with EH&S and other relevant Authorities. He/she in charge of developing security measures and assuring the overall security of all members of the organization. Your duties include but to limited to the following:

Security Operations:

Monitor and ensure compliance on BOMBA, POLICE, Local Authority regulations and Safety & Security Manual compliance especially on threat, burglary, theft & fraud, crime, access control, robbery, public order, distress situation also below grade with 360 precinct monitoring.

To identify potential security "threats" and propose remedial actions/measure to the Security, EHS & Operations Facility Management.

Assist Security Head for In- house staff recruitment and Outsource staff recruitment and their performance management.

Manage, train and supervise Security Executives.

Always spearhead in demonstrating high customer service orientation.

To conduct safety & security related training to In House and Outsource Security Personnel to ensure comply requirement and interval from time to time.

Write comprehensive incident reports and risk register via electronic or manual registration.

Maintains utmost confidentiality, discretions and able to make relevant judgement.

Ensure that the teams follow Security, KDN Private Agency License Act 1971.

Take charge of the department in the absence of Head of Security.

Rehearsal of the emergency evacuation plan drill and circumstances by role play as per Head of Security Plan

Command and always control the security staff ensuring all work is conducted safely, in line with directives set by the TRX The Exchange centre Management team.

Requirements

Possess at least 3 to 5 years of operations, Shopping Centre as well as building Safety and Security experience.

Possess at least SPM /STPM, Diploma ,Degree or ex-officer rank and file in or services with Police (PDRM) or relevant Authorities. Preferably someone with strong Public Order Administration in PDRM with good background.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

Computer literate.

Knowledge of local laws and regulations on safety and security related.

Knowledge of Private Security Act 1971-KDN and able to handle outsource security operation for the asset.

Good interpersonal skills and able to build good working relationships at all levels.

Proactive, independent, team player, organised, work under pressure and to meet deadline in multi-tasking environment.

Able to work in 3 rotating shift 24x7 (based on their roster), weekends and Public Holidays. Support service in or any \xe2\x80\x9cJust In Case \xe2\x80\x9csituations.
