Job Description


Job Summary

  • To actively participate and assist in all areas of the Kuching Distribution Centre (DC) operational processes including the security of the DC, occupational health and safety of the staff, control of warehouse environment and the administrative functions.
General Responsibilities

OUTBOUND * To ensure products are picked accurately and promptly
  • To responsible as checker for dispatch activity
  • To ensure products are packed correctly to prevent potential damaged from improper handling and transportation
  • To assist in the managing of the warehouse personnel to ensure that the deliveries are completed as per the delivery schedule To perform monthly survey for transporters performance
  • To perform daily transporter\'s vehicles checks, eg air cond functioning, fuel, cleanliness, free from pest, alarm system as per checklist
  • To issue AR doc for transportation charges to clients when applicable
STORAGE

To ensure rules, safety and security procedures are properly implemented

To responsible for carrying out the review rules, safety and security measures

To perform monthly stock count for selected agencies

To arrange staffs to perform monthly ad-hoc count

To arrange staffs to perform housekeeping

ZONE MASTER

To be the Zone Master for the Zone A

Duties as the Zone Master:

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the cleanliness for the area (To follow the cleaning schedule)

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for the maintenance of the equipment

\xc2\xb7 Responsible to update the signage / label

\xc2\xb7 Ensure all cartons boxes are labeled accordingly in the Non-Saleable area

\xc2\xb7 Ensure safety and security practices are applied

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for proper storage practices

\xc2\xb7 To alert the Facility Supervisor on maintenance / repair requirement when required

OTHER DUTIES * To responsible to check the packing material balance and submit order to SADC team
  • To be backup for TRA activity when required.
  • To be backup for Destruction activity when required
  • To be relief Executive when he on leave or when required
  • To undertake any additional duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time
Functional Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrate working understanding of distribution center, distribution and transportation
  • Proven hands-on experience in warehousing, inventory management, pick and pack functions
  • Demonstrate strong appreciation of customer service requirements and commitment
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
  • Willing to work in Kuching DC.
  • Willing to work on shift.
Education

Diploma/certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics Management or related field

Work Experience

Minimum one to two years\' experience in similar role
