The Assistant Technician supports the After-Sales Technician in performing service and maintenance tasks, handling tools and parts, documenting service activities, and ensuring smooth technical support operations. This position is an entry-level hands-on role suitable for candidates who want to grow in machinery service and support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in installation, servicing, and repair of machinery
Handle tools, parts, and equipment setup at workshop or customer sites
Document repair jobs, take photos, and update service records
Prepare machinery for delivery (inspection, minor setup)
Maintain workshop cleanliness and tool organization
Provide support during training sessions or exhibitions
Job Requirements
Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
0-2 years of work experience in service, maintenance, or workshop roles
Hands-on skills in using tools, measuring instruments, or basic repair
Able to lift, carry, and support fieldwork assignments
Willing to learn and work under supervision in outdoor or workshop settings
Basic communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
