Job Description



Client Background: US based MNC- operating in 126 countries, close to hundred sales office & showrooms worldwide in Europe, North America and Asia over ten years in order to build a complete portfolio of product lines- Office Interiors Manufacturer. Region offices: Beijing, Dubai, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Australia, Europe, Paris, London, Latin America, North America, Boston, Chicago, Holland, San Francisco & more. Products: Seating system, office furniture, storage, tables, collaborative tools & etc

Headcount: 1 headcount

Tenure: 1 year contract

Remuneration: Basic + fixed allowance RM500

Support sales team on design and specification work and supervise the Bid & Design team in finalizing typical system and floor plans layout and cost estimation on all products to offer in a tender bid for local and remote markets in the most timely and accurate manner.

Work with Sales Team / Local Bid & Design to understand the tender requirements/ expectations.

Prepare design and specification works on typical system configuration and floor plan layout.

Once drawings are finalized, prepared bill of quantity and strategize product solutions to meet tender's specifications.

Work with Company factories and 3rd party suppliers to specify non-standard products to customer's specification for pricing.

Ensure tender is completed and submitted on time.

Support Bid & Design Manager on liaison with remote markets

Prepare data qualification for order entry and order file

Understand the project requirements/ expectation from the remote market manager and work closely with the Bid & Design team to finalize the drawings and proposals.

Create presentation boards for mockup exercise

Provide rendering work to enhance proposal bids using PCON software

Create presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint format for sales presentation

Maintain all drawings and files in the archive library

Ensure the drawings and quotations are submitted on time.

Prepare weekly & monthly report requested by SSC.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of commercial experience with good computer software knowledge (Excel, Words, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, PCON, Adobe Photoshop & Project Matrix)

Dedicated, meticulous with great attention to details

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as a team player
