Connection Planning - Ensure that useful, actionable and up-to-date information about the consumer\'s media ecosystem is communicated clearly and regularly for effective planning across audience insights, media trends, creative and content influences, business dynamics, connection context, platform and tech innovations that inform strong, channel agnostic strategic recommendations. Trendspotting & Innovation - Create, identify and deliver category, media and other relevant trends & innovation to client, agency, and internal teams on a proactive and frequent basis Research and Insights - Partner with Agency insights and data teams to connect audience strategy to business goals, with media implications Product, Solutions and Media Thought Leadership - Contributes to, or repurposes agency thought leadership for clients around a client\'s business/category, media landscape, culture and consumer Media Planning Team & Client Collaboration Thought Leadership - Lead the development of client thought leadership, presentations and other important communication regarding strategic media deliverables delivering clear, compelling and persuasive communications Client Strategic Planning - Delivers day to day strategic work for client(s), stewarding strategies through to execution in collaboration with internal and external teams Collaboration with Planning team & agency partners - Close collaboration within group agencies and with external creative, data and activation agency teams to ensure that strategies are inclusive of all disciplines and realized across functions. Briefs working teams and partners for ideation, lead and steer brainstorms. Collaboration with Client teams - Lead collaboration amongst client teams and facilitate brainstorms, tissue sessions, think tanks and ideation session that drive creativity, innovation and idea generation Leadership & Ownership of outputs and deliverables - Guides the development of client presentations, write and deliver communication strategies, breakthrough media plans, and award-winning tactical ideas (e.g. platform idea, large sponsorship, partner with innovative technology) New Business Pitches New Business Pitch - Support Agency Leadership and Business Directors in driving new business pitches, working across planning teams, platform teams, specialists and experts and key stakeholders (locally, regionally and globally) Organic Client Growth - Lead and support business planning teams in delivering innovative implementations and cross-sell and up-sell opportunities Team Growth & Upskilling Strategic coaching - ensure that team and staff remain updated and competitive through relevant training and coaching, especially in championing Agency\'s proprietary Media Planning Framework understanding and adoption Product & Solution Champion - Support the conceptualization, development and adoption of agency proprietary tools, solutions, products and capabilities, including product decks, go-to-market strategy, planning team cascade & training, client proposals and successful implementation / case studies / pilots. Agency Profile Building Innovative Work - inspire & develop creativity and innovation in ensuring client solutions are award-worthy Award Participation and Wins - play an active role in leading and supporting Agency Leadership and Planning team in awards participation through case study development, submission, and presentation Key Experience and Requirements Strong Media Planning Fundamentals - Strong command of media planning and channel/platform understanding will be essential in developing insights that enable consumer-first planning across both traditional offline and Digital platforms Passionate about Media - A passion for the Media advertising business coupled with an always-on sense of curiosity to stay abreast of the rapidly evolving consumer/cultural landscape as it pertains to planning best-practice, channel choices, use of media and ideas within the category is a must.
