Technical Asset Operations (TAO) is a key enabler for the accelerated delivery of Shell\xe2\x80\x99s Asset Management System and will help us to reach our ultimate potential in Downstream Manufacturing, Integrated Gas and Upstream. TAO provides high quality and cost-competitive technical resources who are not physically present at site yet are an integral part of asset teams delivering value through end-to-end AMS work processes.About the rolePurpose & AccountabilitiesReview red line markup (RLM) changes in technical drawings, collaborating with team members, incorporating revisions, and contributing to overall work quality.Relevant experience in onshore/offshore Energy industries in engineering designing in FEED, Detail Engineering and As-built process.Monitors functional mailbox for Document Turnovers on daily basis and prioritizes the completion of these document turnovers based on agreed criteria and in line with asset standards.Understands data related maintenance reports, equipment drawings, circuit diagrams, P&IDs, operation, and maintenance manuals of OEMs for Energy domain operations. Understanding the functions of the various equipment\xe2\x80\x99s /instruments and knowledge of reading/ interpreting the engineering drawings (P&IDs, PEFS, PFDs) is an advantage.Read & comprehend the various technical drawings of the process & facilities like P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram), Isometrics, General Arrangement (GA), Equipment Sketch, Instrument Hook-ups, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Single line diagram (SLD), Switch board layouts and other mechanical, piping, instrumentation & electrical related drawings.Proficiency in drafting/detailing/review/managing of technical documents and drawings like Pipe material specification, valve material specification, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics, plot plan, layouts, equipment general arrangement, pipe supports and other related drawingsUnderstand and interpret the corrections & redline mark ups (RLMU) done in the drawings. Preparation & Checking of all 2D updated drawings executed by peer designers. Review of vendor drawings including control system wiring and panel drawings all other interfaces for design deliverables.They should provide technical support, quality check, and share recommended practices and standards to drafters and designers. Additionally, the candidate must understand the completeness and consistency across the entire project to improve quality and reduce rework.Proficient in interpreting and understanding corrections, redline markups, and updates across related engineering drawings.Opens each drawing or document and performs quality check based on the Asset\xe2\x80\x99s Document Management standards - returns document turnovers to the originator that don\xe2\x80\x99t meet baseline quality standards. Sends required notifications and closes document turnover per instruction when complete.Updates/Amend documents to SharePoint, adds metadata as per work instruction.DimensionsIndividual contributor roleShift work following operating hours of the assigned project/asset across the globe Virtual working with key stakeholders for day-to-day operations.Effective initiative to identify and help resolve business and technical issues within areas of responsibility.A self-starter and reliable person, with good verbal and written skills in English.Exposes the individual to all cultural backgrounds and organizational levels across the globe, across diverse time zones.What we need from youStrong aptitude for Learner MindsetThe successful candidate should have Graduate or Master\xe2\x80\x99s Engineering degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience or 3+ years relevant experience in Mechanical/PipingDrafting Tools \xe2\x80\x93 AUTOCAD,Microstation, SPPID or SP3D or AVEVA 3DExcellent knowledge and hands on experience on at least one of Micro Station applications familiarity with Markups, understanding of Schematics with 2D.Person having drafting skills in AutoCAD who are willing to learn & work in MicroStation may also apply.Knowledge in Design Engineering standards for PEFS.Skilled in SharePoint, MS tools & AdobeBasic knowledge of Document work process and process flow.Behavioural Competences:Excellent communication skills and a quick learner. Be a good team player. Ability to prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities for the area of responsibility. Flexible and adaptable to change, with a track record of demonstrating initiative, analytical capabilities and problem-solving.Ability to apply engineering best practices, codes, and standards to identify issues, recommend improvements, and implement solutions.Flexibility to move quickly across changing priorities and manage multiple Projects/Programme.A good understanding of the Upstream/DS/IG business and how it works.Ability to engage and effectively communicate at all levels inside and outside Shell and within different cultural settings.Understanding of Continuous Improvement process in TAOCompetitive applicants will have a proven track record of delivery in Asset and/or Project.While the hubs will remain the core locations for SEAM, we will continue to use a distributed working model. This means that our preference is to appoint the best candidate for the job on local terms working virtually from their base country.We may make appointments on expatriate terms where it is justified in accordance with the International Mobility criteria for expatriation, but our clear preference is to appoint on local terms and build the local talent pipeline.Positions in SEAM will require global travel and flexibility in working hours to manage communications across time zones to influence and support stakeholders and enable business performance.
