Join us in this role where you'll support our organisation in managing external spend and use of internal resources. You'll ensure high data quality in monthly reporting and forecasting

Welcome to Financial Accounting and Controlling

You'll be part of Cost Reporting & Controlling where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of a global team servicing the business with management reporting and budgets. You'll join a talented and dedicated team of 8 people, located in Poland. You'll work closely together with team members to support the Orsted indirect functions with reporting of department cost, internal projects and external cost providing data for decision making.


As a team, we help each other, share knowledge and learning, support each other to succeed and develop. We maintain an informal dialogue within the team and enjoy being around each other.

You'll play an important role in:

being responsible for the monthly reporting and controlling of selected parts of the organisation by following up on internal and external cost using various data sources performing month-end accounting activities for assigned areas and update forecasts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies between actual and forecasted costs coordinating process of preparing forecasts for the business in close cooperation with team members and stakeholders working closely with our finance business partners to understand performance drivers and cost development providing ad-hoc support to the business lead streamlining and optimizing processes and ensuring standardised work across the team.

To succeed in the role, you:

have a master's degree in accounting, controlling, or a equivalent field have extensive working experience in cost controlling, forecasting, and financial reporting possess strong MS Excel, Power BI skills and SAP experience, knowledge in SAP BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud will be highly beneficial able to works collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and supporting EU hours (up to 8 PM) are proactive and self-driven, challenge the status quo, and have a structured approach to your work demonstrate excellent communication skills and can present results to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
