This position will be part of the Market Access Public Affairs (MAPA) Department at Novo Nordisk Malaysia. Our team is devoted to improving patient access to our life-changing therapies. We work collaboratively with health economic opinion leaders, reimbursement agencies, medical associations, and primary care organizations to shape opinions and secure reimbursement for our products. As an Associate Market Access Manager Obesity & CETA, you will manage MAPA related projects as well as you will play a critical role in interpreting clinical and health economic evidence to support local requirements and formulary listing. Your expertise will contribute to the development of superior value propositions, enabling expanded access of our brands to government sectors. If you are adept at developing pricing strategies, mapping key stakeholders, and coordinating project management, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact within our dynamic and forward-thinking organization.Other role expectations are as follows:

  • Achieve the vision, strategy, and access plan for the affiliate in Obesity & CETA. The role will also drive the development and implementation of strategic MAPA plans, including formulary listing and health economics analysis.
  • Plan and implement strategic stakeholder projects to support MAPA strategic priorities.
  • Develop and communicate superior value propositions for expanding access of Novo Nordisk brands in the government sector.
  • Prepare submission dossiers for Therapeutic Areas to optimize access to Novo Nordisk products.
  • Develop pricing strategies and monitor competitor landscape and market dynamics.
Qualifications
  • Relevant academic degree within science, business, or public health, with 2-3 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong English proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
  • Good knowledge of the current pharmaceutical, diabetes, and obesity landscape
  • Strong business acumen and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent communication skills with flexibility to adapt to local needs and engage with various internal stakeholders, including MAPA directors, commercial directors, product and sales managers, medical teams, and regional/global MAPA managers.
