At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.As a key player in the finance operations role at Smith+Nephew Finance, you will ensure the effective and efficient execution of Order to Cash processes. This includes adhering to the designated control metrics outlined in the S+N Finance Order to Cash taxonomy.What will you be doing?Contact customers via phone, email, or visits to collect outstanding debt and ensure adherence to payment terms, while following up on overdue amounts.Coordinate customer queries and disputes with relevant departments for resolution, handling customer administration needs to facilitate invoice payments.Allocate payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate customer master data, adhering to assigned collections strategies and supervising contacts in the system.Supervise credit limits, report statistics, identify potential bad debt risks, and escalate unresolved issues to the Credit Manager, while encouraging proactive customer relationships and compliance with collections policies.What will you need to be successful?Requires a minimum of one year of experience in an international setting, with a preference for backgrounds in Collections, Cash Application, or Customer Service departments. A consistent track record of implementing process improvements is advantageous.Proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level, along with experience in SAP. Familiarity with GetPaid is a plus.
