We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate, Payment & Treasury. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Payment & Treasury this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Payment & Treasury and its\' growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Initiate payments, cash management and remittance by adhering to all implemented policies and procedures.
  • Assist client in their treasury bank account management.
  • Manage and perform bank reconciliation
  • Manage end to end process of client bank account opening and closing, change of account signatories, I-banking users, bank KYC reviews, payment/ cashbook reconciliation and other bank related tasks.
  • Manage day to day client relationship by attending to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Deliver client account monitoring/reconciliation updates in accurate and timely manner.
  • Work closely with banks to ensure all client instructions are executed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as of when required.
  • Provide support to facilitate the on-time completion of internal and external audits.
  • Participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives.
Key requirements:
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in an organisation active in Payment or Banking Operations related to cash management under Capital Market, Corporate or Fund industry. Fresh graduate are welcome as intensive on the job training will be provided.
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets
  • Direct operational experience of Capital Market, Corporate or Fund industry. Candidates must be willing to work in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru area.
  • Degree in Banking or Business Administrative. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
  • Has payment processing experience using various international, Singapore and local I-banking knowledge in both local and telegraphic transfer knowledge.
  • Familiar with Sort Code, SWIFT, SNAPS, ETC, ABA codes
  • Collaborative team-player with experience in working in a dynamic organization and able to build bridges between different stakeholders within the organization.
  • Having a hands-on and positive attitude towards solving problems and ability to think out of the box.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Focused and meticulous, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to work well under time pressure in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities that often has deadlines imposed.
