Plan, implement, and manage HR initiatives across key areas such as talent management, career progression, professional development, and employee engagement.
Lead and supervise the HR team to ensure efficient daily operations, timely deliverables, and adherence to budget.
Support the planning and execution of HR-related projects and new initiatives introduced by the Unit.
Contribute to strategic efforts including benchmarking, data consolidation and analysis, proposal development, policy reviews, and preparation of presentation materials.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance HR functions and initiatives, positioning the University as an employer of choice.
Ensure compliance with operational and reporting requirements from government agencies, ministries, statutory bodies, and accreditation authorities.
Oversee documentation and records management to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Conduct data analysis and prepare reports, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity.
Proven experience in training, staff development, and talent management.
Strong knowledge of the Sarawak Labour Ordinance and related regulations, including those from the Human Resource Development Corporation, Ministry of Higher Education, and Sarawak Immigration Department.
