• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is typically required. Additional vocational training or certification in automotive technology is a plus.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or a related role, demonstrating a strong understanding of vehicle systems and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and computerized systems for vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Solid knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, steering, and suspension.
• Familiarity with vehicle manufacturers\' guidelines, technical manuals, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with regulations.
• A valid driver\'s license may be required.

• Vehicle Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as engine repairs, brake system repairs, suspension repairs, electrical system repairs, and routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.).
• Parts Replacement: Replace faulty or worn-out parts, including components of the engine, transmission, cooling system, exhaust system, and electrical system, ensuring proper installation and functionality.
• Technical Inspections: Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems, safety concerns, and necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Test Drives: Perform test drives to verify vehicle performance and diagnose any issues that may not be evident during inspections or diagnostics.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers, understand their concerns, and provide clear explanations of necessary repairs and services. Offer guidance on preventative maintenance and vehicle care to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Compliance and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards to ensure a safe working environment and the delivery of high-quality automotive services.
• Training and Development: Stay updated with advancements in automotive technology, participate in training programs, and continuously develop your technical skills and knowledge.
