Job Description

Job Responsibility:

Gather requirements, install, configure, and test backups in a high-availability enterprise environment. Maintain and operate enterprise backup solutions within data centers. Monitor and manage backup jobs across multiple platforms to ensure data integrity. Troubleshoot performance issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. Perform backup-to-disk operations for offsite storage using replication technology. Install, configure, and troubleshoot backup software on multiple operating systems, including Windows, Linux, UNIX, and VMware. Develop and maintain documentation for processes, systems, and access control. Conduct vendor best practice reviews and update SOPs to document system changes. Manage and maintain CommVault deployments on Windows Server 2016, including libraries, deduplication databases, media agents, policies, and schedules. Collaborate with vendor support teams to remediate security issues within CommVault architecture. Operate and maintain tape library platforms (Quantum, IBM, and HPE), backup-to-disk, and offsite replication solutions.

Job Requirement:

5 years' experience to administrative Backup tools for bare metal, virtualization environment. In-depth knowledge of CommVault Complete Data Protection backup systems and architecture Experience and understand well Operating System (Windows/Linux) and virtualization (VMware) Experience with both Windows PowerShell, Bash shell scripting and CLI skills are advantages Experience in handling LTO tape media Experience in financial institution backup solution sets and requirement is a plus

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
