Job Description

We are one of the pioneer specialty coffee roasters in Malaysia, and are currently preparing our fourth and newest outlet in Subang SS15 - Unfold! Join us as our baker to assist in producing & expanding our in house baked goods. Our main products will be breads and pastries (baked goods). Responsibilities

• Knowledge of mixing and preparing doughs for assorted breads, pastries and other baked goods.
• Involve in the research and development of new products and new recipe.
• Plan and organize production of baked goods.
• Ensure the quality of breads and pastries are consistent and up to standard.
• Maintain clean and organized work environment.
• Manage the usage of the ingredients and equipments of the bakery
• Obtain constructive feedbacks, and suggest necessary adjustments to baked good items.
• Understand the objectives of the company and provide suitable suggestions as to achieve the goal.

Requirements

• At least 1 year working experience in related field is required (restaurant / cafe).
• Have experience in baking bread and pastries.
• Good attitude, hardworking and able to tackle challenges independently when necessary.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage volume production without sacrificing quality.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time (6 hours +)
• Able to work in a hot kitchen environment (baking area shares the same space as the hot kitchen)
• Punctual !
