Job Description

They must be fully familiar with the operation of the outlet, correct procedures and duties subordinates. Can take orders and make sure that orders are being served by staff without delays. Handle minor complaints and reports them to the Manager or their assistant for proper action. Checks staff assignments prior to and during service. Have a knowledge of all relevant product service. Have a thorough knowledge of food and beverage service techniques. They are responsive to constructive criticism by their Superiors. Ensures smooth co-operation between the outlet and other inter departmental areas. Check cleanliness of their outlet both front-of-house and back-of-house. Check maintenance schedule and follow-up job orders to be completed. Have a clear understanding of staff handbook and regulations stated within. Monitors all staff for punctuality, grooming and can brief staff on a daily basis (if required). Ensures all of the outlets operational equipment is on hand and all stock levels are fully stocked for daily operation. They must be able to delegate staff and be able to utilized them optimum productivity at all time. Greet and seat guests (wherever possible) in a courteous manner. Engages in suggestive selling. Presents the guest's bill (wherever possible). Clears the table and resets as necessary. Sets the example by adhering to all rules and regulations set by Management while on duty. Should be able to train bar person to handle telephone calls in a polite and helpful manner. Liaises with the Management on all service related problems they are aware of. Works as a team member and offers help when needed. Must have good communication with staff and their superiors and build a good team spirit.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
