Manage opening and closing duties, including inventory checks, and equipment startup/shutdown.
Oversee cleanliness, organisation, and maintenance of the cafe and workstations.
Train new hires on barista procedures, product knowledge, and customer service.
Provide continuous coaching and feedback to team members.
Assign tasks and delegate duties efficiently to support peak-time productivity.
Handle minor team conflicts and report serious issues to upper management.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and delivery checks.
Reduce waste and monitor portion control to ensure cost efficiency.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.
Promote a welcoming atmosphere and build rapport with regular customers.
Ensure that wait times, product accuracy, and overall service remain high during busy periods.
Complete shift reports and update management on staffing, and operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling, and sanitation standards.
Support implementation of promotional campaigns and seasonal offerings.
Able to engineer new menu in the bar and develop SOPs for the items in the bar.
Ensure all bar items are prepared and presented to the company standards.
Develop seasonal and promotional drinks for certain festive seasons in any given time of the year.
