• To take orders, make recommendations based on customers\' preferences, and answer any of their questions
• To educate customers on menu items and inform them about special or new items

• To maintain a clean caf\xc3\xa9 area, sanitizing tables and chairs, emptying trash, and sweeping crumbs off the floor
• To update displays and signage to attract customers
• To constantly improve knowledge of brewing methods and specialty drinks
• To respond to concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner; enlist Manager as necessary
• To demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the menu offerings
• To stock and replenish inventory; supervise inventory levels and communicate when necessary to ensure inventory is not low or out
• To maintain an empty dirty dish area and wash and put away dishes in the kitchen
• To properly handle all caf\xc3\xa9/kitchen equipment and utensils and ensure they are kept clean and well maintained
• To constantly maintain good hygiene and follow the food handling SOP
• To ensure the supplies and food being served are safe for consumption (quality assurance)
• To suggest menu additions to Manager
• To identify strategies to retain and attract customers and communicate customer feedback to Manager
• To provide excellent customer service
• To always be punctual and clock in/out daily
• To always be respectful, honest, polite, and embrace teamwork in harmony
