BAT GBS FINANCE SHARED SERVICE IS LOOKING FOR A Transformation Business Relationship Project Manager

SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid-Senior Level

FUNCTION: Business Transformation

SALARY RANGE: RM 10,000 - RM 13,500

LOCATION: Sunway Geo Tower, Selangor

REPORTS TO: Senior Project Manager

JOB TYPE: Permanent

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is part of Business Transformation. Whereby, you will require excellent time management and partners engagement skills, functional expertise (Finance, Legal, IT, & HR,) along with ability to be bold and fast in execution. The role will need to have strong project management skills and will be responsible for portfolio management and reporting of all aspects relating to the project.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Provide hands-on project management assistance and/or where required, shadowing of a Lead.
• Participates in controlling, reviewing, and validating financial data to provide management with timely and accurate financial information to enable effective and efficient decision-making.
• Contribute in delivery of financial advice to management and/or project team
• Ensures that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines.
• Prepares and monitors team's and project cost to serve to manage spending within budgets.
• Works with relevant stakeholders to ensure GBS obtains the insights it needs at the quality and granularity it requires for better planning and execution.
• Drives and ensures close working relationships with all functions
• Facilitate frequent transition manager meetings and align outputs

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• A good understanding of all or some of the functional areas (e.g. would be an advantage Finance, HR, Legal and Compliance)
• Experience in analysing reports, identifying issues and results-oriented management
• Experience of identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement
• Business planning acumen and ability to translate business information requirements to the source data requirements.
• An ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties
• Ability to handle large volumes of information, present it in an accurate and relevant format. Keep to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy.
• Required skillset in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Understanding of networks, databases and other technology
• Minimum education required is bachelor's degree holder.
