Job Description


:

Job Purpose : * Responsible for the success of BDC products especially foreign currency notes and remittance sales planning, sales execution, campaign execution, growing remittance business, meeting customers and drive activities.

  • Manage performance & staffing of BDC to ensure profitability and productivity of BDC.
Key Responsibilities : * To achieve BDC Locations Sales, Revenue and Profit target set by Management
  • To conduct sales / product presentation to customers as and when required, in order to introduce BDC products and services in order to build good relationship with customer.
  • To plan and implement sales activities / BDC products initiatives according to strategies and policies set by the bank.
  • To be well conversant with the changes of competition and marketing environment in order to provide feedback to management for appropriate action.
  • To engage and work closely with CSD Branch Managers to leverage their existing relationships and work on their customers for BDC products.
  • To build and expand segment of customer for each BDC product.
  • To build and leverage on all potential customer leads to grow BDC sales and revenue.
  • To strategizes and implement customer penetration strategies and develop defends against competition.
  • To develop and grow Foreign Currency Notes business with equal emphasis for foreign tourist, local travellers, retailers, companies etc.
  • To develop and grow Remittance business Over the Counter and Off Sites.
Systems & Assets

Ensure all relevant systems at BDC locations under his/her purview are running optimally and secured for daily operations.

Ensure all BDC locations Fixed Assets under his/her preview are fully accounted and in good running condition.

Ensure all BDC branding, logo and signages at BDC locations are in good condition.

Customer Relationship * Establish and maintain relationship with BDC customer base and business stakeholders and continuously nurture the relationship.
  • To manage and ensure CX levels are met in accordance to the bank\'s guidelines and policies.
  • Ensure customer complaints are resolve speedily and refer to Management immediately if unable to resolve at his / her level.
People Management * To build strong relationship with Regional Directors, Regional Managers and Branch Managers to ensure constant business referrals and vice versa.
  • To project a professional business image at all times through high standard of BDC business knowledge, personal grooming, time management & housekeeping.
  • Encourage to provide assistance in the form of knowledge sharing, ideas and approaches with the BDC team.
  • Train, motivate, coach, counsel BDC staff in achieving their individual targets and KPIs.
  • Duty roster, staff CX training, Staff grooming, regular DRM with staff, Sales pitch training, team work culture. (Pls segregate the items in a proper sentences)
  • Work cordially with other BDC Managers and HQ support team.
  • Ensure staff under purview are align with Management objectives and strategies.
Regulatory Compliance * Ensures compliance with CIMB Bank\'s policies and procedures, audit, compliance and BNM guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with Code of Sales Ethics and Governance.
Others * Prepare monthly reports to be submitted to head office.
  • Resolve operational and administrative issues and escalate all critical or unresolved issues to head office.
  • Monitor and provide competitor feedback and activities to Head office.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Management whenever deemed necessary.
  • Ensure the BDC locations cost / expenditures is manage optimally.
Job Specification :
  • Degree or diploma holders in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 year as BDC sales executive or related experience
  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Must be willing to work on shift hours
  • Must be well-versed in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to speak Mandarin or any other third language would be an added advantage
  • Friendly, helpful and enthusiastic
