1. Operational Supervision: Oversee daily operations of the optical store. Ensure smooth workflow from customer reception to eyewear delivery. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for replenishment.
2. Staff Management: Supervise and support opticians, sales assistants, and other staff. Create duty rosters and manage leave schedules. Provide training and guidance to ensure high service standards.
3. Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Ensure accurate fitting, adjustments, and after-sales support. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Sales and Performance: Drive sales targets and KPIs for the team. Monitor product performance and suggest promotional strategies. Maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness.
5. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all prescriptions and optical work adhere to company and industry standards. Maintain records of customer prescriptions and orders. Enforce hygiene and safety protocols.
6. Technical Knowledge: Support team in interpreting prescriptions and recommending suitable eyewear or lenses. Assist in troubleshooting vision-related issues. Stay updated on the latest optical products and technologies.
