SUMMARY OF THE ROLEImprove the overall market position and competitiveness of assigned segment, concept, brand, product or solutions portfolio by building in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customer needs, requirements and the market situation, leading to achieve profitable growth and materialising innovations solving customer needs in accordance with segment and category strategies/budget.
This position will be based in Shah Alam, Selangor, reporting to Marketing Manager.Responsibilities:Initiate and implement campaigns, launches, innovations or similar based on market analysis, competitor monitoring and customer insight within assigned area of responsibility.Drive segment, category, brand, product or solution performance and leverage business potential through projects and processes in cooperation with other functions.Ensure that the necessary marketing vehicles (products, systems and marketing material) are in place.Generate marketing deliverables (insight, business case, key selling arguments and communication package).Drive the Category innovation strategy by identifying consumer insights and prepare Innovation concepts in cooperation with the Innovation Manager.Responsible to grow category and brand with the support from region, local sales, technical, supply chain and customer network to achieve agreed financial results and market share.Develop and maintain local assortment and identify market needs, closely coordinate with different functions to increase market shares and profitability.Coordinate and assist in devising the strategies, plan, budget etc. in order to achieve the company\xe2\x80\x99s objective and targets.Responsible for new product launches, implementations by working closely with local and regional marketing team in order to drive the success of new innovations.Develop and implement proper pricing and product management strategies by analysing market information and working closely with Sales team in order to increase in sales and market share in the responsible geographical area.Being able to match Jotun product portfolio to our target markets, identifying the gaps and deciding on corrective action or products needed, matching these needs with correct innovations.WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERQualificationsBachelor\'s Degree with minimum of \xe2\x80\x8b5 years of relevant experience required.Preferably have experience and knowledge in B2B or Oil&Gas Marketing.Must be proficient in verbal and written EnglishStrong communication and influencing skills.Teamwork spirit and able to work independently.Ability to travel within the region when required.Personal QualitiesDevelops an ambitious but realistic business vision and translates it into a workable strategy.Acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results.produces fresh and imaginative ideas and solutions; breaks away from tradition; promotes change and noveltyQuickly understands and analyzes complex issues and problems; comes up with sound and rational judgments.Communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.Adheres to company rules and procedures; executes plans with commitment and determination; achieves high quality results.What we offerWe are a fast-growing paint and coatings company with proven financial success.Career development encompassing on-the-job experiences and Jotun Academy, our in-house development academy.Best-in-class paint products that are unparalleled in quality.We are a values-driven organization where Respect, Loyalty, Care and Boldness are core to the culture and success of our organization.POSITION INFORMATIONCompany: Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn.
