To assist the Site Manager to manage and execute all field work

Working location : Kulim Hi-Tech Park

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining an inventory of equipment such as fire suppression systems, alarm systems, plumbing, electrical wiring, and ventilation systems

• Ensuring that building codes and regulations are followed by contractors throughout the construction process

• Supervising contractors to ensure that they are performing their duties in accordance with building codes and regulations

• Coordinating with architects and engineers to plan and schedule construction projects

• Inspecting fire safety equipment and maintaining records of inspection results

• Preparing reports on building conditions and recommending repairs and renovations as needed

• Monitoring energy usage and implementing energy conservation measures such as installing energy efficient lighting and furnaces

• Installing and maintaining security systems such as cameras and access control devices

• Interpret technical designs and drawings

• Manage projects to meet agreed specifications and timeline

• Prepare site reports

• Provide technical advice and resolve technical issues that arise during construction

• Supervise building civil, steel structure and architecture works

• Perform any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior / management.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Structure/ Architecture) or equivalent.

• At least 5 years of working experience in building construction and infrastructural

• Able to read drawing and BQ specification

• Experience with site management and coordination

• Willing to learn and committed to work

• Willing to work extra hours

• Able to communicate verbal & written in Bahasa Malaysia and English due to the needs communicating with vendor.

• Construction site working experience in industrial project is an advantage.

• Able to work independently.

• Be able to work flexible hours and work with tight schedules.

• This position will be based at Kulim site, 6 days work per week.
