Position Overview The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives through the application of project standards and governance. This role will include activities such as leading small projects and initiatives, supporting the Director of Program and Change, Head of Administration Operations in implementing reporting and monitoring tools and collaborate with Project Manager on larger more complex projects that impacts Administration Operations. Support the Director of Program and Change to set up, implement and manage the Project Management Office, and Demand Management processes to improve Administration Operations portfolio management capabilities and capacity. Responsibilities Support the implementation of the project delivery and change management delivery, which include setting up and monitor the adoption of project standards, governance and control for projects and initiatives within the Asia Administration Operations portfolio. Work in collaboration with the Regional/ Global/ Local Administration and IT teams, to implement demand management processes to deliver small to mid-size projects. Work in collaboration with Asia Administration Operations teams to define and track performance of team with dashboards that report KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KRIs (Key Risk Indicators). Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Information Systems and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices. Including promoting of the use of Agile project delivery methodologies Lead or participate in multiple workstream or projects by evaluating business requirements to determine feasibility, conducting structured walkthroughs of requirements, managing workstream/project scope; completing and updating project documentation; schedule management; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer expectations. To convert the business requirements into detailed technical requirements for the technology team To co-ordinate with the technology team to explain the requirements and ensure all parties realigned to the business problem and proposed solution To validate the developed solution before handing it over to the customer for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) To co-ordinate with the businesses and the technology team to facilitate UAT Collaborate with others through articulating ideas and viewpoints to management and peers; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues/conflict management along with negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders; and holding self and workstream team accountable for delivery of results. Assist in fostering business partner relationships and expectations with different RGA functions by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on workstream or project results such as utilizing formal and informal written communication to communicate updates and findings; and facilitating project meetings or stand ups and can lead presentations to diverse RGA audiences Leads and collaborate efforts across local, regional and global teams in ensuring proposed solutions for Asia Administration Operations are compliant and in line with risk appetite. Provide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, process diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan) Collaborate closely with both global and regional IT to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process. Performs other duties as assigned.
